On October 25th, David wrote a blog. honestly, did everyone expect ONE player to turn a United States team (which ranks far below european stands, and is not even one of the better U.S. teams at that) into an overnight success? Soccer is about TEAMWORK! There is no I in team! One team player that is 10 times better than the others won't do shit if the rest aren't cooperating and giving 50 times what they did in the past! Also, it's not his fault he was injured! Let's see what happens when we actually get to see him play a full season. People who say he's a failure as the Galaxy didn’t turn into the World Cip winners in one season need to come back from Mars. He and his wife are crazy beautiful and brought the team some good spirit and attention, but he’s not Jesus Christ (or any other worhipped human or deity). Becks did indeed to his best under the conditions.
Anyone that believe Becks was not worth his huge contract is seriously misguided. One - Beckham was injured. Two - he was not allowed to play due to the opinion of physcians, had he played, he may risk ruining his career (and thus the career of the Galaxy and posibly the emergence of higher level in U.S. Soccer) by sustaining a long-term injury. God knows he still has a great-looking bod, but all those years of hard times on the field can get to you (I know as my fiance is a soccer player - a good one at that).
Also, if you analyze the Becks package (the huge investment in his career by Galaxy), he has shown that the MLS and LA Galaxy are benefiting from it - a lot! There has never been such sell-out seats for U.S. Soccer and definitely no-one has garnered this kind of attention (sorry Galaxy boys, but it is great to not only have a quality player - but a real looker on tthe field! Ladies like myself love this and can actually appreciate their men being absobed in watching the game on TV since now there is some eye-candy for us!)
If you don't know this is the truth, get off your high horse and bow down to the DVB bcs you are a jealous freak.
p.s. at least he has spared us any rehab adventures, unlike other celebutards. Our very own homegrown US celebrities are a million times worse.

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all well?
I’ve continued to step up my match fitness over the past week and managed to come off the bench and play a part against Red Bull New York and Chicago Fire. It was a great feeling to be part of the action again.
Unfortunately, results went against us and we just missed out on a play off spot. The team had played so well over the past six or seven games, so I’m incredibly disappointed for them, but we’ll come back stronger next season I’m sure.
I’d like to wish Cobi Jones a happy retirement from playing. He’s been at the Galaxy since the club was formed and has definitely been one of its, and the MLS’s, greatest players. So, best of luck to him for the future.
